ROBERT ORTH
Bob performed 134 roles in opera and musical productions in numerous cities around the world, including London, Berlin, Rome, New York, San Francisco, Houston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Portland, Washington DC, and Denver.
He was named “Artist of the Year” by both New York City Opera and Seattle Opera. He was also the recipient of New York City Opera’s Christopher Keene Award for new and unusual repertoire.
A founding member of the New Mercury Collective, he starred in “Orson Rehearsed,” the ensemble’s first major project, and the last role that he created before his death.
